We are used to having visitors, and people who just want to take a look. You will find us welcoming and friendly — and we are happy to give you space if that is what you prefer.

Our Sunday service is held in the church hall at 26a King William Street, Old Town, Swindon, SN1 3LB.

Who

Everyone is welcome — families, individuals, people of every nation, and people who would not call themselves Christians.

Your first visit

What happens in a Sunday service?

Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 am with praise and worship, followed by prayer, notices and a sermon from the Bible. The service is informal and modern in its language. Please feel free to join in as much or as little as you feel comfortable — you are welcome simply to watch and listen.

Is there anything for children?

Yes. Our Sunday School runs during the Sunday morning service: when children arrive at 10:30 am they go straight to their Sunday School group room. If your child would like you to stay with them while they settle in, just ask the Sunday School teacher.

What about babies and toddlers?

Babies and toddlers are very welcome, and we are relaxed about a bit of noise. There is a room at the back of the main church hall where you can stay with your child and still listen to and watch the service.

What should I wear?

Come as you are. People dress in everything from jeans to semi-formal clothes; there is no dress code beyond being reasonably modest.

When should I arrive?

People usually start arriving 15–20 minutes before the service. If you are running late, don't worry — you will still be warmly welcomed.

What happens after the service?

Please stay for refreshments after the service. It is a great opportunity to meet people and for us to get to know you.

Parking

There is a free parking area just next to the church (on the left), on the property of Willows House, for church use during the Sunday 10:30 am service. Otherwise, there is a pay-and-display car park on Prospect Place, near the church.
