Matthew 19:14 (KJV)

Learning about Jesus together

Sunday School is an important part of church life at King's Christian Centre. We want to teach our children the way of the Lord in a way that meets the needs of their age group — teaching that is Bible-based and fun, helping them to discover Jesus Christ, the fullness of life He brings, and what it means to live as a Christian.

When it meets

Sunday School takes place during our Sunday morning service. When children arrive at church at 10:30 am, they go straight to their Sunday School group room.

Our groups

Children learn in three age groups, each meeting in its own room:

  • Bubbles — children aged 3–5
  • Splash — children aged 5½–8
  • Junior Youth — children aged 9–12

All of our Sunday School teachers are DBS-checked members of the church.

Visiting with your children?

You are very welcome. If your child would like you to stay with them while they get used to Sunday School, please speak to the Sunday School teacher on the day. Babies and toddlers can stay with you in the room at the back of the main church hall.

Special family services

From time to time, Sunday School children take part in the Sunday service — leading songs, reading Scripture and sharing presentations with the whole church family.
